Nicholas Dunsby

Founder & Director

Nicholas Dunsby is the Founder and Director of Naval Solutions Ltd, established in 2019 following a distinguished military career. With extensive experience in leadership and engineering roles, Nicholas brings a wealth of knowledge in systems engineering and the delivery of complex, mission-critical solutions across global maritime environments.

A Chartered Engineer with dual British and Australian nationality, Nick has built Naval Solutions Ltd into a respected consultancy known for its technical precision, strategic insight, and commitment to excellence in maritime engineering. His leadership continues to drive the company’s growth and its reputation for delivering high-quality, tailored solutions to clients in both the public and private sectors.

Nicholas is also actively involved in community initiatives, including supporting youth maritime programs such as the Sea Cadets.

Benjamin Ray

Co-Director

Benjamin Ray is Co-Director of Naval Solutions Ltd, joining the leadership team in February 2023 following a distinguished career in maritime and nuclear engineering. His early career included consultancy work with VT Group, followed by service in the Royal Navy as a Nuclear Engineer aboard Trafalgar Class submarines.

Benjamin later spent a decade at Frazer-Nash Consultancy, where he led high-impact projects in maritime safety and engineering. He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Operations Management from the University of Nottingham, and brings a wealth of technical and operational expertise to the company.

With a strong focus on innovation and strategic growth, Benjamin plays a key role in shaping Naval Solutions’ future, ensuring the delivery of robust, forward-thinking solutions to clients across the maritime sector.
